My son and I love getting out on the water and into the outdoors.

My wife Lisa and I mail our own 3×5 cards every week. I started Tide & Trophy because these giveaways exist, but most people never hear about the free way to enter.

The point is simple: show you the free way in while there’s still time to use it.

Honesty comes first: real deadlines, never made-up urgency.

I’ll never sell your email or ask you for money. Every giveaway on the list comes from a real brand or nonprofit with official rules—I link them so you can check.

Before you enter: the ground rules
  • We're not the sponsor. We don't run, sell or sponsor any giveaway, and we're not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any sponsor, charity or organizer we list.
  • Always read the official rules. Sponsors set eligibility, deadlines and how to enter, and they can change them. The official rules always win over our summary.
  • We never enter for you. You enter every giveaway yourself. Many sponsors void entries made by someone else, so we never fill in or send entries on your behalf.
  • No win promises. Nobody can promise you'll win. Odds depend on how many people enter. We just help you find and keep track of the free ways in.
  • Free means free. Every giveaway we list has a no-purchase, no-donation way to enter. If a sweepstakes also sells entries, we only feature it with its free mail-in route. If we spot a mistake, we fix it in the next email.
  • Watch both dates. A postmark deadline is not an arrival deadline. Allow postal transit time and follow the sponsor’s exact instructions. Mailing on the final day does not guarantee receipt in time.

Is this really free?

Yes. The weekly email is free, and every giveaway we list has a no-purchase, no-donation way to enter. Mail-in entries need your own postage. Get this week’s steps before a sponsor’s deadline passes.

Why join if other people buy entries?

Some sponsors sell entries and also offer a free way in, such as a handwritten card. We show you that route and link the official rules. Follow those rules to enter the same giveaway without buying a ticket.

When should I mail my entry?

Check both the postmark date and the received-by date. They are not interchangeable. Leave time for postal transit; mailing on the last allowed day does not guarantee it will arrive in time. No invented countdowns—we use the sponsor’s published dates.

Do you enter for me?

No. You enter every giveaway yourself. Some sponsors require your own handwriting or words and void third-party entries. We give you the steps; you take your shot before the deadline.

Am I eligible in my state?

Each sponsor sets its own state, age and other requirements. Your state helps us flag the giveaways you may be eligible for. Always check the linked official rules before spending time or postage.

Do you run these giveaways or promise a win?

No. Tide & Trophy shares giveaway information; we are not the sponsor and do not sell entries. We link official rules so you can check the free method, eligibility and dates. Odds depend on the giveaway; nobody can promise you a win.

What does the founding-100 plan mean?

The paid tier isn’t open yet. First 100 subscribers lock in founding-member pricing when it opens. No paid price or launch date is announced here, and joining the free list does not start a paid subscription. We do not claim how many spots remain.

What happens to my email?
